Supporting the Shultz Family

Donation protected
There are very few words that could possibly begin to describe the recent events that have occurred in the lives of the Shultz family.

Barron, Misty and their 5-year-old daughter Trinity were in Dallas enjoying a family getaway when Barron (only 43) suffered a massive heart attack during dinner Thursday night (10/19). It was sudden. It was traumatic. And, it ultimately ushered him into the presence of Jesus. While our stunned hearts process the absolute shock and the deafening new reality, our precious Barron has been delighting in the presence of the Holy One, His King. Our Barron has experienced the healing embrace of Jesus and has seen and heard the heavenly host of angels. As he crossed the finish line, we have no doubt he heard the words “Well done good and faithful servant. You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things.  Enter into joy today.”

We do celebrate Barron’s homecoming…yes, but not without a huge lump of soberness in our throats and a sting and heaviness in our hearts. Just as Barron was a servant leader, a faithful friend, and the kindest, most compassionate, love-first-ask-questions-later kind of guy, he was even more so a faithful, supportive husband, hard-working provider, gentle, loving father, cherished son, and brother.

So many friends and family members have expressed a desire to help with the numerous expenses and unexpected financial needs this family has incurred due to Barron’s premature passing. This GoFundMe account has been set up to offer Misty and Trinity practical financial support as they navigate this difficult season. Just as Barron has faithfully served so many, you may choose to demonstrate your love and care by supporting his girls. Thank you for loving them well on Barron’s behalf, and for keeping them covered in prayer as they take one step at a time, trusting in the goodness of the Lord.

We rest in the truth that we will see Barron again. Can’t you just imagine him getting the lay of the Homeland so that he is ready to greet us with his welcoming smile and sincere hugs? We love you forever Barron Shultz! You left a beautiful mark on all of us and represented Jesus so well.
