<div>A family very close to me is facing the unimaginable. My best friend and her family recently lost their dad suddenly and unexpectedly.

<div>He leaves behind his devoted wife of 34 years and his children, who are now navigating life without the steady presence they’ve always known.

<div>For 34 years, he was not only a loving husband, but the foundation of their home. His passing has left an incredible void in their lives. Along with the overwhelming grief that comes with losing someone so deeply loved, they are now facing the many unexpected expenses and responsibilities that follow such a sudden loss. Navigating this heartbreak on top of everyday life has been incredibly difficult.

<div>He was a proud and devoted father to his daughters and his son, and he embraced his bonus kids with the same love. He showed up. He protected. He supported. He was caring, funny, loyal, and above all else, a true family man. The kind of man who made you feel safe, valued, and at home just by being near him.

<div>Right now, this family needs time to grieve without the added weight of financial stress. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help ease that burden and allow them space to heal.
