<div>My name is Sashira and I've set up this fundraiser along with Kristy's close friend Helen in support of Kristy Menzies and her dear family. I met Kristy when our sons started school together, and we became friends bonding over parenthood and art. Kristy has been diagnosed with Metastatic Breast Cancer, and we're doing what we can to aid Rob, Charles, and Thora in caring for her.

<div>Kristy is creative, caring, and conscientious. We want her to feel like she can use her energy towards her treatment and self-care and know that she has a group of people who love her, have her back, and will do our best to make her able to focus on herself and her family and not feel responsible for things outside of that. We want to alleviate as much outside stress as we can.

<div>These funds do not have a hard specific purpose, but we're hoping will be helpful for some of the following:
</div>
<ul>
<li>keeping up with bills and household expenses
</li>
<li>making daily tasks easier, like ordering in food on taxing days and hiring a snow shoveller
</li>
<li>ensuring Charles and Thora are continuing to have their needs met like, attending activities, receiving gluten free nutrition
</li>
<li>continuing Kristy's supplemental care she receives, like naturopathy and acupuncture
</li>
<li>transportation to and from appointments
</li>
<li>so much more....
