Supporting the Marrs Family after Devastating Wildfire

Dear Family and friends,

Most of you already know that my parents’ beloved home of almost 60 years in the Castellemarre area of the Palisades was destroyed in the Palisades fire this week, as was my sister’s home in Malibu. Thank you for all of the love and offerings of help for our family. We have started this Gofundme to help with the daunting task of starting over. This home, a place filled with a lifetime of memories, life, and love, wasn’t just a house; it was the heart of our family, a sanctuary that my folks built together and where they raised my sister and me, and where they helped me raise Connor and Kylie. It was a space that welcomed not only us but also our children, friends, and anyone in need of comfort or care.

My mother, a woman of incredible faith, generosity and love, now faces the daunting challenge of navigating the emotional and financial burdens this disaster has left behind. All of this is outside of her taking care of Dad, who is battling advanced Alzheimer’s, residing in a memory care facility. We are asking for your support to help the family start anew. The funds raised will go towards all the expected/unexpected costs of starting over.
