We still cannot believe we are writing this, but over Christmas, our dear friend Kate passed away suddenly, leaving behind her loving husband Stephen, their 3-year-old daughter Marlowe, and their 6-week-old son Marshall. Kate was a vibrant, welcoming person who had a rare gift for making everyone feel seen and included. She built meaningful friendships everywhere she went, and her loss is felt by so many in our community and beyond.
In the days following her passing, people near and far have reached out asking how they can help, especially those unable to be here in person. This fund was created as a way for those who wish to show their love and support in a tangible way. Contributions will go toward supporting the children as they grow, whether for future needs, education, or simply providing a cushion of care and stability as Stephen and the kids navigate life after losing Kate so suddenly. This support allows their family the space to grieve without added stress.
There is absolutely no expectation to give. If you’re able to contribute, thank you. If not, sharing this page, keeping the Jenkins family in your thoughts, prayers, and memories of Kate means just as much. Together, we can remind them how deeply loved and supported they truly are.
