<div>Deputy Adam Heitman dedicated his life to serving others—as a United States Marine, a law enforcement officer, and a devoted K-9 handler with the Creek County Sheriff’s Office. On July 15, 2026, after helping successfully apprehend a wanted felon, Deputy Heitman suffered a medical emergency and passed away in the line of duty despite extraordinary lifesaving efforts.
