Supporting the daughter of Josie and Tom Burko

On August 28th, Josie Burko tragically passed away from Covid and her husband, Tom Burko, was rushed to the hospital that morning shortly after Josie’s passing. The family had been sick with Covid the week prior. Tom was fighting for his life for 11 days while mourning the loss of his wife alone in the hospital. Tom Burko unfortunately passed away on September 8th.

The loss of this amazing and loving couple is extremely heart breaking. They are truly missed by all family and friends but even more so by their beautiful daughter, Lillie, who at the young age of 8 lost the most important people in her life. This family of 3 were very close. They loved road trips, movie nights, walks to the park, all the family time they could get. Lillie will be moving to California with her maternal Aunt Lynn and Uncle John, and her family.

I have set this up on behalf of Josie’s family and her sister, Vidalin (Lynn) is also an admin for this GoFundMe. All funds will be going directly to her as she is now Lillies legal guardian and she will be overseeing the withdrawal and management of funds.

So many family and friends have reached out on how to support and help Lillie. All funds will be set up in an account to help Lillie in her next chapter like schooling and counseling. We thank you for your prayers and support during this very emotional time as we mourn the loss of Josie and Tom.
