 No parent should ever have to experience the unimaginable pain of saying goodbye to their child. On Thursday 06/25/2026, our dear family friends, and part of the Griffin Electric Company, Inc. family, Eldin Ariel Mejia Castillo ("El Bello") and Ella Merlyn Rivas Amaya, experienced every parent's worst nightmare when they unexpectedly lost their precious six-month-old son, Theo Gabriel Mejia Rivas. In an instant, their world was forever changed. Instead of celebrating milestones, first words, and cherished family memories, they are now facing overwhelming heartbreak while trying to make arrangements to lay their sweet baby boy to rest. As they navigate this unimaginable grief, they are also trying to remain strong for their young daughter who needs them now more than ever. 
 
 
 Anyone who knows Eldin knows the kind of man he is—hardworking, humble, devoted to his family, and always willing to lend a helping hand. Today, he and his family need ours.
