Due to the impact of the Coronavirus to the Australian and global economy, many people in Australia particularly those holding temporary, provisional and bridging visa holders, some of whom have lost their jobs and have very limited support from friends and family in Australia or overseas and who get no Federal Government assistance - need our support.
The Federal Governments lack of emergency relief and support for temporary, provisional and bridging visa holders currently in Australia is deeply concerning, many of whom who can no longer afford to buy food to feed themselves or their families.
The stories I have heard are heartbreaking and in many cases people are being significantly disadvantaged due to unnecessary visa processing delays and the lack of empathy, support and flexibility provided by the Department of Home Affairs.
I am fortunate to have been involved in the migration profession for over 20 years. My business Migration Solutions has assisted tens of thousands of aspiration Australian visa applicants including young families and now during these unprecedented times I feel I have a responsibility to help and support those who have supported my business.
This campaign has been started in order to raise money to support those temporary, provisional and bridging visa holders most affected by the Coronavirus.
Money raised will be used exclusively to provide food and essential supplies to those most in need.
Please support this campaign now and remember that temporary, provisional and bridging visa holders like you and I are husbands and wives, they are Mum's and Dads, they are children, they are our brothers and sisters, our family and our friends and most importantly the desperately need our support.
