Supporting Sweet Sadie

Twelve weeks ago Sadie’s parents noticed that something was not right with their 6-year-old little girl. Their otherwise rambunctious daughter began complaining about headaches, tummy trouble, and ran a low grade fever. After many doctor visits, is was at an annual eye doctor appointment that they noticed that there was an abnormality behind Sadie’s eyes. There is pressure on the optic nerves and the source will not be known until an MRI is done. They were told that there are two possible causes: a tumor or that there is a build-up of fluid that is not draining properly. An MRI is scheduled for Friday and although the family has insurance, it doesn’t cover all that is needed for Friday’s visit or the treatment that follows.
