Six weeks ago, Larry was having severe back pain. He went to the ER and through tests, the doctors found a large tumor on his kidney and 2 smaller ones on his lungs. To complicate matters, he underwent surgery a few days later. During the procedure, the surgeon decided not to proceed because removing the tumor would have been life threatening. He was immediately referred to an oncologist but waited for days (in agonizing pain) for the biopsy results. Larry has been diagnosed with an aggressive type of Cancer, but the medical professionals are uncertain of the exact type. For now, they are calling it Renal Cell Carcinoma. He is in the fight of his life.
