Supporting Scout

Nearly 2 years ago, twins Levi and Scout joined John and Marjorie to create the cute little family we all know and love. During the first year of life, it became clear that Scout was falling behind in her milestones. After doctor's visits and genetic testing, the Mannings found out that Scout has a very rare disorder where she has a triplicate on chromosome 16.  As you can imagine with many medical conditions, support interventions and medical treatments are very expensive. John and Marjorie are hard working educators and wonderful parents, and they will do whatever needs to be done for their children. We all have shown our love and support and asked, "what can we do to help?" This fund has been set up to at least help lighten the financial burden and show our love and support in a way we know will help. Expenses include $4,000 per MRI, multiple doctor's visits, visits with specialists, speech therapy and upcoming spinal surgery in early July - our goal is $10,000. The Mannings love and friendship are felt far and wide, so if we all do even a little, big things will happen for this sweet family.
