Help Riena fight Melanoma

On Saturday December 16th, our beloved friend Riena was diagnosed with highly aggressive melanoma that has spread throughout her entire body. As the new mother of 10 month old Noah, Riena is determined to fight this devastating cancer and recover in full.
Riena's doctors are calling her situation extremely challenging but there are some very progressive treatment options open to her and they are doing everything they can to ensure her best possible chance of recovery.
During treatment, both Riena and her partner Josh will not be able to work, placing them in a precarious financial position without any income. In a further injustice, Josh's permanent residency is yet to be confirmed, creating significant further stress for them all.
Our aim is to raise $50,000 which would take care of their rent and groceries for at least a year, relieving them of this worry and allowing them to focus solely on Riena's recovery and Noah's care.
Anyone who knows Riena knows that she is the most generous, supportive and loving friend. We are constantly in awe of her capacity to give and her compassion, empathy and love for others. She is a besotted and devoted mother and has had so little time with Noah and she is not ready to leave her little boy.
We all want to do everything we can to make sure she is here, with Josh, to love and spoil Noah for years to come.
