Supporting Rainbow Junktion for World Food Day

This year, our chosen charity to support World Food Day is Rainbow Junktion.

Rainbow Junktion are on a mission to tackle food poverty, fight food waste and build community. They intercept food that would otherwise be thrown away from supermarkets, restaurants and a number of other sources, and turn it into healthy, nutritious meals for anyone and everyone on a pay-as-you feel/can donation basis.

In support of the work of Rainbow Junktion a group of colleagues from Eversheds Sutherland are undertaking the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge on Saturday 14 September 2024

The Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge takes on the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough in under 12 hours. These peaks form part of the Pennine range and encircle the head of the valley of the River Ribble, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge route is 24 miles (38.6km) and includes 1585m (5200ft) of ascent.

And between 14th September and World Food Day on 16th October we'll continue our campaign for RJ through financial and food donations.
