"Mi nombre es Patricio Toalombo, tengo 62 años, y me dirijo a ustedes en este momento porque necesito tu ayuda. Hace un mes, me diagnosticaron con Fibrosis Pulmonar.

Es una infección médica caracterizada por el endurecimiento del tejido pulmonar debido a cicatrices. Esto puede causar dificultades para respirar y una disminución en la función pulmonar. Las cicatrices hacen que sea más difícil que mis pulmones funcionen correctamente, lo que provoca síntomas como falta de aire, tos y fatiga. Es una enfermedad seria que requiere tratamiento médico para controlar mis síntomas y mejorar mi calidad de vida.

Todo esto sucedió muy rápido. Soy cabeza de mi hogar, y el tratamiento es costoso. Vivo en Ecuador, donde el salario mensual promedio a menudo es insuficiente para cubrir los crecientes costos de la atención médica. Los bajos salarios y la inestabilidad laboral han creado una realidad difícil para muchas familias, incluida la mía, lo que hace casi imposible cubrir incluso los gastos médicos más básicos. Esta enfermedad inesperada me obliga a quedarme en casa, y lamentablemente, mi familia y yo no tenemos ingresos para pagar mi tratamiento. Ahora, tengo que usar oxígeno de manera permanente y no puedo costear los gastos de medicamentos porque no puedo trabajar debido a mi estado de salud.

No he perdido la esperanza; creo que Dios tiene el control. Aquí estoy, pidiendo su ayuda y disposición para poder cubrir mis gastos médicos.

"My name is Patricio Toalombo, I am 62 years old, and I am reaching out to you now because I need your help. A month ago, I was diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis.

It is a medical condition marked by scarring of the lung tissue. This can lead to breathing difficulties and reduced lung function. The scarring can make it harder for my lungs to function properly, leading to symptoms such as shortness of breath, cough, and fatigue. It is a serious disease that requires medical treatment to manage my symptoms and improve my quality of life.

All of this happened very quickly and suddenly. I am the head of my household, and the treatment is costly. I live in Ecuador where the average monthly wage is often insufficient to meet the rising costs of healthcare. Low wages and job instability have created a harsh reality for many families including mine, making it nearly impossible to cover even the most basic medical expenses. I am forced by this unprecedented disease to stay home, my family and I, unfortunately, do not have any money coming in to pay for my treatment. Now, I have to use an oxygen tank permanently, and I cannot afford the medication expenses because I am unable to work due to my health condition.

I have not lost hope; I believe that God is in control. Here I am asking for your help and willingness, so I can cover my medical expenses.
