It's with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Nicacio Soria, owner and operator of Kaki Farms in Gridley, CA and longtime Berkeley Farmers' Market vendor. This is a huge, unexpected loss and an incredibly difficult time for his family, employees, the Berkeley Farmers' Market community, and beyond. Nicacio's warmth and generosity, land stewardship, and commitment to nourishing others will be held in the hearts of all who knew him.
