<div>Hi, I'm Amanda, and the lady in the picture is my mum (Lin), her late grandson (my son, Tommy), and her late husband (Stan).
</div>
<div>I'm doing what I can to raise money for my amazing mum so she can afford to pay for dads funeral, and other expenses / bills and to keep her family home after losing my wonderful dad.
</div>
<div>Sadly, on Friday 12th July, we had a funeral to say goodbye to our little son, our 8 year old DIPG Warrior Tommy. At the end of his service, my dad walked in with my mum by his side, to say goodbye to his grandson, he then walked out of the chapel and collapsed.
</div>
<div>Thank goodness we had a doctor and nurses, family and friends who were there paying respects for our gorgeous little boy. They all jumped into action and did what they could. They performed CPR until paramedics arrived.
</div>
<div>My dad had to be incubated and a machine was assisting with chest compressions. His heart kept stopping.
</div>
<div>My dad died in Blacktown hospital just after 7:30pm on Friday 12 July. We had to say goodbye to our son and now my dad.
</div>
<div>My mum lost her loyal husband of 47 years! The most patient, kind, respectful, and honest man I know. I was so proud to call him dad, and our boys their poppy. Our family is going through the most unimaginable pain. Two beautiful people we love with all our hearts, gone from this earth far too soon.
</div>
<div>My mum is almost 69, she doesn't work, she isn't currently claiming, nor has she ever, claimed centrelink benefit (they are often too proud to ask for help, knowing there are always people worse off). My dad had not long retired after over 53 years with Australia Post. He worked hard his entire life, retired and didn't get to enjoy retirement with my mum.

<div>Sadly, not only does our family have another funeral to pay for, I've also discovered that dad still owes a fair bit on their family home, mum doesn't want to lose her home. It's so special to her. Mum and dad lived there since they got together, they raised all 3 of us kids there, and it's where they have so many memories with family, including their grandchildren.
</div>
<div>I completely understand how tough times are, if however you can spare any amount to help out a selfless mum / nan, a lady who would always offer to help anyone, we would appreciate it so much.
</div>
<div>She would never ask for help, people helped me when I needed it most, now it's my turn to return the favour and ensure mum doesn't now face a massive financial burden on top of losing her little grandson and her husband only 9 days after.
</div>
<div>We will help her as much as we can, however we have just lost a child and now a dad and working through the rollercoaster of grief, anger, sadness and other emotions that come with such a tragic loss.
</div>
