Help Katie Kick Cancer

As many of you know, the past two years have been extremely difficult for the Davidson Family.  Katie (Evancho) Davidson has been the rock of her family, supporting her husband Rick and their strong daughter Meghan through both of their battles, tirelessly never leaving their sides.

Unfortunately, Katie now needs us to help HER through this next battle.

Katie was recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer and could certainly use everyone’s positive thoughts and prayers. Currently, they are performing tests to ensure she is ready for surgery, her port will then be inserted and she will begin chemotherapy this week.  A full treatment plan is being developed as I type this, but so far we know it will include multiple months of chemo, radiation and eventually surgery.

We cannot begin to express my extreme heartache for Katie and her family, as they have already been through more than any one family should have to endure!!  Katie is the most kind hearted, funniest, generous human I know!

Many of you have already reached out and asked how you can help.... We truly appreciate the desire to support Katie and her family!  Our goal is to try to alleviate some of the financial stress placed on the Davidson Family! We decided this was the best way to assist the family with the many medical expenses which have already begun to add up with all the testing, scans and appointments, and will only multiply throughout Katie’s treatment.  

We ask that you please keep this special family in your prayers as they begin this difficult journey. 

As October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I would also be remiss to not include a reminder to do regular monthly self-exams and to get your yearly mammogram!
