We are heartbroken to share that one of our Surgical Techs, Julia Strome, tragically lost her father, Edward "Ed" E. Leach Jr., on the afternoon of Monday, December 2, 2024.

Ed was a remarkable individual who volunteered weekly at the Dayton Good Neighbor House, dedicating his time and energy to serving others. In fact, he was there as recently as Monday morning, demonstrating his unwavering spirit of generosity right up until the very end.

This profound loss has deeply impacted Julia and her family. They are now navigating not only the emotional pain of saying goodbye to a loved one but also the financial burden of planning a funeral and associated expenses.

The sudden nature of this tragedy has left little time for preparation. Our hope is to come together as a community to ease the financial strain on Julia and her family, allowing them the space to focus on healing and celebrating Ed’s incredible legacy.
