<div>Thank you for taking the time to see our Go Fund Me page. We both know that financially speaking, times are tough for many of you. Please only contribute if it will not harm you or your family in any way.

<div>Some of you already know that we are getting divorced. After 28 years of marriage we look at this time together as a success. We’ve supported one another through our dreams and challenges. We have raised a beautiful human, who we are deeply proud of. We do not look at the end of this marriage as an end of our family, but a change in circumstances.

</div>
<div>Jes’s physical health and Alex’s mental health have brought about challenges that are better solved outside of marriage than within. We part as close friends, and will remain in each other’s lives.

<div>Unfortunately, change has had to accelerate on a timeline that neither of us chose. Our landlord is selling our home and we all needed to find new living situations. If we were allowed the time to plan, we could’ve built back up the savings for the moving costs. But that was not the case. This sprung up on us in the midst of our marriage ending.

<div>Alex has had some new diagnoses, medication changes, and challenges staying mentally stable. Jes’s health has of course been affected by the stress of the situation and is challenged to maintain a baseline.
</div>

</div>
<div>We are grateful to our dear friend Tracey Miller who is making space in her home for Jes to move in.

<div>This fundraiser is to assist with a few things to help us out going into this next chapter. Alex and Everett need a deposit for a new place to live, they are planning to live together at this time. Everyone needs to hire moving vehicles and maybe some hired help moving the heaviest items. And Jes is looking to fund a safety net savings account of a few months of alimony to help bridge the gap should Alex’s mental health get in the way of his financial stability.

</div>
<div>Thank you so much for supporting us through this really difficult time. We are all feeling the stress and concern for the near future. We know this is a lot of change for everyone involved, but we also know that love will lead us through. We are grateful to you for your support.
