Hi!
We are a group of university students travelling to Nepal this November to complete a month-long healthcare placement at the Manipal Teaching Hospital in Pokhara.
Our goal is to raise money in order to purchase essential medical supplies and equipment to donate to the hospital, ensuring the community has access to vital healthcare resources.
In many parts of Nepal, access to basic medical care is limited, and hospitals often lack essential supplies. With your support, we can make a significant difference.
Previous student groups have used their funds to purchase patient transfer systems, lead gowns, thyroid shields, sanitizing wipes, sharps disposal units, glucometers, digital thermometers, alcohol swabs, wheelchairs and much more.
We will be collaborating with health staff to identify needs for the hospital, which will inform us of items we can purchase to support the hospital, staff and patients. Our purchases will be made in Nepal to also contribute to the local economy.
Your donation will go directly towards purchasing these supplies, which will not only aid the patients we will be working with but will also help improve the hospital’s long-term capacity to care for its community.
Any contribution, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to our goal of improving healthcare access in Nepal. Thank you for helping us make a meaningful impact!
