Hey, everyone. I'm KiiNGS. Myself and some of the other members of our communities have had the absolute pleasure to have GraphiksInk be a part of them. Graphiks has not only been a huge supporter, but he has become a friend of mine as well. He is an incredibly selfless and caring individual and I've learned that those qualities are rare in people and I've watched him help so many people and now I just want to be able to return the favor and help him.
Graphiks has been in quite a bit of pain recently due to ongoing medical issues and surgeries. He needs to have another one soon. The procedure that he needs is called a S1-L2 multilevel fusion which refers to removing motion around or through a disc space by creating a bone bridge from one verebrae to the next. When this is performed, a lumber laminectomy is also performed which is included to alleviate pain from lumbar spinal stenosis. Spinal stenosis is caused by degenerative changes that lead to an enlargment of the facet joints in the back of the vertabrae. The enlarged joints and related degenerative changes place pressure on the nerve roots as they exit the spine. Recovery from this procedure for someone who has a spinal deformity over 4 levels or more can easily take the patient 6 months or more for minimal recovery.
The doctor is requiring Graphiks to have a down payment of $38,000 for the operation and the operating room since he has had three other major fusions and because of this one having the largest risk. Because of the previous surgeries, his insurance has dropped him and refuses to pay anything towards the upcoming procedure. Not only does the surgery have a financial toll before it is done, but he will not be able to work competently for a minimal of 6 months afterwards due to limitations of not being able to lift over 5 pounds. He will also be incredibly restricted on his ability to bend, twist, or perform a lot of movements that most of us take for granted that we do on a normal basis during our daily routines.
Besides the operation itself, there are costs that will accrue as well. Some of these involve the 10-15 day stay in the hospital after the surgery followed by multiple weeks of rehabilitation that he will have to do. By not having this surgery, he is incredibly limited to what he can do with his family and son. He would again be able to play sports with him and do the things they love to do together for more than five minutes at a time. This surgery will also help him be able to be in much less pain and be able to get away from the pain killers that he uses on a daily basis to make the pain tolerable.

Again, I have known Graphiks myself for nearly a year now and have never been anything but impressed with how he treats others and the things he says and does for people.
