Supporting George Melling in his fight against MND

Nelson Football club are raising money to help support former player George Melling and his young family as he battles MND. For those that know George, you will know he was a warrior on the pitch and there wasn’t a fight he ever shone away from. As a player in his team you knew he’d have your back no matter what. This is a fight we know he will face head on, and we want to offer all of our support to George and his family just as he has done so many times on the pitch. 

Over a 4 week period starting this Friday 5th February the current Nelson Squad will aim to run 1000 miles collectively. We are hoping to raise as much money as possible to help George and his family during what are already extremely challenging times. We appreciate any support you can give, all donations no matter how big or small are greatly appreciated.
