Hi, my name is Brie, and together with my aunt, Terri (Denise’s sister), we are starting this GoFundMe for our beloved Denise Platz.

On July 4th, 2025, Denise was involved in a tragic boat incident in Alaska, along with others. She sustained serious injuries and was life-flighted to Seattle, where she is now being treated for second- and third-degree burns on her back, legs, and feet.

Denise has a long journey ahead—facing multiple procedures, extensive treatments, and a challenging recovery process. She is not only our mom, sister, and aunt, but also a cherished friend to so many.

We are reaching out to ask for support in easing the financial burden of medical expenses and helping with her personal bills while she is hospitalized and healing. Any amount, big or small, will make a meaningful difference. Even $5 helps and is deeply appreciated.
