<div>On Sunday, June 14, 2026, our family lost Damon Bornes in a tragic car accident. The loss has left a hole in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him, but especially in the life of his son, Colton Michael Bornes.

<div>As a single father, his greatest pride and joy was his son, Colton. Their bond went far beyond that of father and son. They were best friends, adventure partners, and each other's biggest supporters Damon and Colton were rarely far apart.

<div>Anyone who knew Damon knew that his life revolved around Colton. Every decision he made, every plan he created, and every dream he chased included his son.
