A-WING (Aviation Women Inspiring the Next Generation) is raising money to bring immediate support for women in aviation who have been laid off and/or experiencing financial crisis due to COVID-19 impacts to our industry. 

There are many women who are sole providers of their family, single moms, or their income represents a critical portion of their family's needs.  Women have been critically impacted due to COVID-19 who are dealing with illnesses, caring for loved ones, layoffs, furloughs, and other loss of employment.  Early money raised is being distributed to support women who are hit hardest and offer direct funds to women to go towards groceries, critical bills, and job finding initiatives. 

A second phase of this program has been launched to help women to be successful in navigating the recovery including securing new employment, job seeking efforts and raising women up in order to gain successful employment in the aviation industry.  These fund will be used for the following services to women in the industry:

·        “Teach a Person to Fish” Webinar & Training Series, including topics on:
                 ·        Career coaching                 
                 ·        Transferring your skills to different segments of the industry
                 ·        How to prepare for interviews
                 ·        How to rock at interviews
                 ·        Resume consultations
·        One-On-One Career Coaching Hours
·        Networking Platforms & Events
·        Job Placement Platform
·        Education for employers on why it is SO IMPORTANT to re-hire women
·        “WE REPORT” campaign to move the needle.

A-WING hopes to change the numbers and help women through this crisis by offering a place of support and an abundance of opportunities.
