<div>I never imagined I would be writing something like this, but here we are.

<div>I was recently diagnosed with Stage IV adenocarcinoma, and my life shifted overnight.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>What started as ongoing symptoms turned into multiple doctor visits, an initial surgery, and now a treatment plan that includes another surgery to my liver, fertility preservation (egg freezing), and chemotherapy.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>One of the hardest parts of this experience has been realizing how much this impacts areas of my life I never expected at this age—especially fertility. It’s something I’m actively working to protect before starting chemo, and it’s a big part of this journey that isn’t talked about enough.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>At the same time, my husband DJ and I are navigating a major life transition. We had plans to move to Dallas, and while those plans are still in motion, we’ve had to adjust everything so I can prioritize my treatment here in New York with the support of my doctors, family, and close friends.
</div>

</div>
<div>Between:

<div>My cancer was initially missed on a CT scan, and I had to push for further testing to get answers. If sharing my story helps even one person catch something earlier, it’s worth it.
