Supporting Aiden

Aiden was born in August and this beautiful boy has brought love and and light to our family. Shortly after his birth, we learned he had an uncommon liver condition, Biliary atresia, which  has meant endless procedures, appointments and a rare Kasai surgery. He’s been awaiting a liver transplant and gratefully will be undergoing surgery today.

Aiden will be at Boston Children’s for several weeks following what we know will be a successful transplant. We’ve started this page to help his parents, Fred and Jen, so they may be able to spend as much time as possible by his side, while also caring for Aiden’s older brothers and sister, back home in RI as this brave little guy fights to survive. We’ve been humbled by the overwhelming response of those that filled out the donor survey.

Your prayers and support have brought Aiden to this point - a successful transplant would mean several weeks of recovery in Boston before being eligible to come home.
