A beautiful woman of our community needs our help and support right now. Acacia has brought the wisdoms of her heart to so many people around us. Her intuitive gifts and kindness has benefited many people. Now, Acacia and her 12 year old daughter need us to show up for her and return the kindness, support, love, and encouragement.
A couple weeks ago, Acacia and her daughter had to unexpectedly flee their home, to find safety away from an abusive ex-partner of 10 years; one who helped raise her daughter. The details of the story are very personal, but with permission from Acacia, I will share her discovery of finding out her sweet daughter had been sexually abused from this ex-partner.
A second discovery was made - he took all of their resources and fled. The authorities have been notified and are working with Acacia. Now, Acacia and her daughter have been leaning on the generosity of friends for safe housing…but what they truly need is a place to call home, so they can, together, begin the healing process so needed. With all her funds having been stolen from her, this is nearly impossible. This is where we come in.
I ask if there is anything you can give, financially, to help this amazing Mama and her sweet daughter find a safe home space, they would receive it with open arms and immense gratitude. The money will be spent on getting a rental house, food, and basic necessities, as they rebuild their foundation and start the healing process. This is a mother and child that have been hurt in the most unimaginable way by someone they trusted. Without knowing how or where, Acacia simply knew she had to take her daughter out of the predator’s home and into safety. Let’s step up and stand by their side, showing them what miracles can happen when we show up to give a helping hand.
