I'm raising funds for an anonymous friend with children in a dire situation.

His eldest daughter is struggling in school with anxiety and depression and is currently in therapy, and his 14-year-old son has attempted suicide and been hospitalized twice. His son is currently in outpatient treatment; but there are no easy answers, no definite timelines, and like all of us - limited funds. With a number of other younger children as well he is put in an impossible position where he has to somehow balance caring for all of his children while attempting to provide everything he can to care for his eldest two.

Currently his past due medical expenses total to $18,000.

In order to get to this point he has already withdrawn their savings, and paid everything he could on his credit cards. He is the sole earner for his family and as a self-employed individual does not have medical leave/paid time off.
