Over the years I’ve had the stern and inquisitive feeling and yearning to want to do something so much more bigger than myself ! If anyone knows me or knew me you’ll know I am a lover of all things humanitarian and welferism. I love knowing that people are taken care of, in good health, and have the daily necessities to keep living in this world. Either it’s my role in healthcare lol for as long as we’ve all known nursing has been my passion and to God be the glory he’s seen me through . As hard as life alresdy is with the many hardships , trials and tribulations and the challenges we experience the least one can do is do something greater than themselves and have something to leave behind.

Two years ago I started researching, working, and networking on how to start my own Non-profit organization back home in Lagos Nigeria where I was born. Where I knew help was needed most it wasn’t the already established governmental communities with great housing or electric or water where I grew up. It was more so the rural communities with no clean water, no basic sanitation facilities, no proper told housing, aid was little to none either financial or medical but yet it was full of har depriving striving entrepreneurial spirited men and women wanting to make a living for themselves and their families. I had my team go down to those communities speak to the likes of the women , children and families we’d be helping you can see how much our government in Nigeria has failed them they have no access to the bits or smallest parts of a decent society or healthy means of living yet they still strived. We did allocated funds where we focused on a community called “ MAKOKO “ if anyone is from Nigeria or a neighboring town they’ve all heard of makoko it’s one of the worst cases of poverty stricken people and community you’d see yet they’re so strong and willed. We spent time with them, made documentaries to get the stories of these hidden voices heard. We spent time on THREE stories of THREE different women going through different phases of life, windowed , single parent of 6 children, and a mother who’s a teacher, sole break winner for the house. It took a lot out of me between work, coaching volleyball, continuing education, and the heavy role I played in church etc it all seemed too much so I had to give a few positions up. As I made those hard decisions I had to narrow down I had to start saving up and get the right information needed to know who I needed to help how the help could be sustained after we’ve helped them and what I was looking at to spend in my first year after years of research, prayer for guidance and support, and much more

December 13th 2023 I opened, launched and unveiled my non profit organization called EnoughcareandWellness Organization that would focus on aiding , assisting, feeding widows, less privileged children and families, and single parents barely making it. During my foundations launch we fed over 200 families and provided them with food to last them up to a month or more, alongside bringing in a contracted medical, dental, and Optometrist companies that came in to provide a full day of basic and routine health care checks. We started with routine vital checks , glucose checks then down to services for those who were showing signs or symptoms of Hypo/Hypertension who then went to obtain prescribed medication and that those who may have been having issues with their visions were seen by optometrists given medication for their eyes, did a vision test if they needed glasses they went home with at least two sets of prescription glasses, then off to dental care for teeth extractions, cleaning, and any other cavity or decay dental care. After they did these things not only did I decided I wanted to get their health checked and looked at we also held job seminars. We had 3 of the most basic yet easily accessible job trades come down to the opening day of our foundation teach seminars classes on Baking, how to make disinfectant soap and insecticides repellents and finally tie dye creation called “Adire” mostly with Tshirts and other products. And last minute we had a donation of over 200 pieces of children clothing where we handed out . The children were so full of joy; their hearts so pure and their smiles so innocent my goodness 2023 I truly knew this was what my life’s purpose was. I was connected and I found where I’d pour into.

All in 2023 most of this was self funded.. spending over $10k of my own personal savings we fundraised and got donations of $3,500 we were able do these great things I explained above.

So here we are year two, were needing assistance in raising funds for this years charity and outreach, we’re partnering with American Red Cross in Lagos Nigeria to go to different hospitals caring for widows, single parents, less privileged youths and children focusing more on sickle cell and ulcer patients who aren’t able to pay for those lab tests, examinations, surgeries, pre op and post op care, and medications to keep them in good health.
