Support Grayson's participation in Global Surgery!

Meet Grayson Mtui, a young and talented doctor from Tanzania. He is dedicated, spending many hours working in the paediatric ward of Haydom Lutheran Hospital caring for sick children. However, he still finds time to conduct medical research, which he believes will improve health care in the long term. Grayson has a special interest in reconstructive surgery. He has been involved in the burn care in this hospital and contributed significantly to the research done on burns in rural Tanzania.

Grayson won the research contest of the Global Surgery Summer School with his research proposal to study access to care for trauma patients and the outcome of their treatment. He won free participation of the course in the Netherlands, which gives him a great opportunity to learn and work with Global Surgery experts and boost his career as both a doctor and a researcher. 

There is no funding to cover his travel expenses (e.g. passport, visa and ticket). For a young Tanzanian doctor to visit Europe, financial support is needed. Please help Grayson to fulfill his dream to participate in the course and support him in becoming an even better doctor and researcher, and spread his knowledge among other young doctors in rural Tanzania.
