Support for Christine

This was written by Lisa, Christine's daughter: 

For those of you who know my parents, you'll know that there is truth in all that I am writing.

My parents are loving, caring, helpful, supportive and overall two of the most genuine people that I know. 
They are the first ones to drop everything and help in any way that they can if anyone is in need and rarely do they ever ask anyone for help in return.

In July we got the terrible news that we all dreaded. Yet another hurdle for my parents thrown in their paths. Mom was diagnosed with cancer. She went through a radical hysterectomy to remove the tumor and we were told that it was double the size that they initially thought. We thought that was it and she was in the clear.

However, it turns out that mom now has to go for radiation therapy. For 5 weeks, Monday to Friday, in Hamilton.

I am here to do everything in my power to try to make this as easy as possible for my parents and unfortunately, I see this being a major financial stress on them as my mom has been, and will continue to be unable to work throughout her surgery and upcoming treatments. 

I ask from the bottom of my heart and all that I am for help.  As Christine's family and close friends, let's pull together to help ease the financial struggle she is about to encounter.
