Mental health support is often very difficult to access. Taking months if not years to see someone for meaningful help. Due to the disruptions of 2020, this is unfortunately only going to get worse.
Arthur Ellis is committed to deliver the UKs most accessible mental health and emotional support service for children, young people and adults, seeing people within days or self-referring.
We have seen such an increase in children needing our support that we need your help to ensure we can continue to not just offer our service but sustain our quick turnaround for appointments.
Working with GP's, Charities and Schools, we have seen not only an increase in children and young people needing support but an increase in how serious their needs are. This means that we need to spend more time with the individual, more appointments over a long period of time.
Going through our service, we have been able to increase people's well-being by 62% on average! This drastically improves their lives in school, with friends and at home. We want this to continue.
With your help, we will not only be able to continue seeing people as quickly as possible but we can continue to offer subsidised services and free sessions to the most vulnerable members of our community.
It costs just over £180 to put a child trough 6 sessions of support. Please give what you can to help.
