Support Diane's Skin Cancer Fight

Donation protected

My little sister's name is Diane Phan. At age 20, she was diagnosed with skin cancer at stage 3. We were told she only had about a year to live.

Flash forward to 21 years old and her cancer had gone into remission and she was ready to restart her life. Of course, we all knew the risk of the cancer returning was highly likely, but we never imagined it would come back anytime soon.

She is now 22 and her cancer has returned at full force. To make matters worst, she has been cut off from her insurance and will no longer be able to pay for treatment. We are trying to raise money to pay for treatments at a new facility, the Cancer Treatment Centers of America at Southwestern Regional Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Her old hospital had let her know that even with insurance, she apparently had no hope left.

It's no secret that my family grew up a little less unfortunate than some. My parents are immigrants, and are currently making less than 25K a year. My family totals 8 people, and as a collective, make less than 120K a year. Only 1 person in our family has insurance, and that is supplied by their job. This family member lives in another state, so Diane cannot be included in their insurance. This information isn't for you to feel bad, it's simply for you to understand that outside paying for food, living arrangements, and transportation, we are not able to afford to pay for cancer treatments out of pocket. As a family, we are asking for the funds as soon as possible, as the cancer can spread rapidly.

My sister means a lot to us, and her life means a lot to her, and at 22, she has a lot to do and a lot she still has yet to experience. If she could beat cancer at 21, I know that she can do it again. But this time we need your help. Any donation amount would be appreciated, so very much. Diane could literally never thank you enough for your support.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, and you'll be in our hearts and minds as we continue this fight.
