Support for Cassidy!

Cassidy is 18 years old and has recently been diagnosed with stage IV ovarian Dysgerminoma. 

Dysgerminoma is is a very rare form of ovarian cancer that is generally found in teenage girls. Dysgerminoma accounts for less than 1% of ovarian tumors overall. Cassidy's has mestasized to her liver, kidneys, and her lungs. A week before Halloween, Cassidy had a 8lb and 17 inch tumor removed from her abdominal area. She has started chemotherapy and is keeping a positive attitude because she knows that she has friends, family, and her Lord looking over her.



Cassidy graduated from Georgetown High School in the top 20% of her class, and hopes to become a high school teacher someday. Cassidy was an active member of the GHS colorguard for 3 years and was a captain for 2 of those years. She has strong faith and loves to help others whenever possible.



Due to the fact that Cassidy just turned 18, she is liable for all the medical bills, and as we all know on a waitresses salary that is practically impossible. This is where we need your help! Even just a dollar or two can make a difference; every little bit will help.
