Support for the Merryweather family

Today we lost an incredible warrior of a woman, Shawna Merryweather. Shawna was diagnosed with breast cancer in September 2014. She took the diagnosis head on and courageously fought hard, dealing with numerous surgeries and treatments. But she did it! She was in remission for a year and a half! Unfortunately, the cancer came back in April. Upon receiving the diagnosis, she armored up and was ready to go to battle again. Shawna’s attitude the whole time was one of incredible strength. She would smile for every picture and tell people she was prepared to do work and beat cancer again. She was such an encouragement and inspiration to many as she maintained her sense of humor and incredible positive attitude until the very end. Shawna was a wife, a sister, a daughter and a mother to two sweet girls, ages 4 and 7.  Her husband Ryan now has to try and navigate life without his wife and the mother of his two children...
 I wanted to start this page for Ryan and their girls for the upcoming expenses they will soon face. Please consider donating what you can to help this sweet family out. And if you can’t donate financially, please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. If you know them personally, please continue to love on those sweet girls and find ways to encourage and support Ryan and their family any way you can. This family has a long road ahead of them as they lost their heart stone today. 

Shawna taught many of us the true definition of strength. Carry that on. And in her own words “Live your life, be with the people you love and care about, and take in the beauty around you.”
