NV Fire - Support Jim & Gouri

I'm Danni Hill and my sister Angela and I made this fundraising page for our dad Jim Hill and his wife Gouri Kayal who lost their home in the Atlas Peak fire Sunday evening. Their home was located on Old Soda Springs Road at the base of Atlas Peak. While in their bedroom Sunday evening, the smell of smoke led them to realize that a fire was approaching their home, leaving them with only enough time to put on their shoes, grab their car keys, and run out the door. The next morning, we got to the house before the roadblocks were in place and took the pictures.

Currently, they have some clothes, their cars, and very high spirits. If you know Jim or Gouri, you'll know that they are two incredibly generous and loving people who would never ask for help but we want to make sure they get it!

Our goal is simply to help raise some money for them so they can begin to replace everything that burned, such as clothes, furniture, kitchen items, etc. Just about anything you find in a home. Any donation you can make is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
