Support Outstanding HS Students

Our goal is to raise money to help two outstanding high school seniors get closer towards their college dreams. They are both struggling financially and are worried about their futures. 

Student 1 is a kind, well liked, and goal orientated individual. He was raised by a single mother who has been battling alcoholism all throughout his school years.  With his tireless support and dedication to his mother by attending AA meetings with her, she has made recent gains. All while still managing to get his work done and excelling in school. His GPA is 3.9 while taking AP and honor courses. He is an extraordinary athlete in Cross Country demonstrating great leadership, dedication and hard work and the Captain of the team. Unfortunately he recently suffered an injury, taking away his ability to perform this year. It would likely be that he will not be able to recieve any scholarships to support him with college. Dispite the difficulities, he has stayed positive and is hopeful. 

Student 2 is one of the hardest working students in her high school. She is endearing, goal-orientated, and determined. Her average GPA is 4.1 in AP and honor courses. While excelling in school, she fears that she will not be able to reach her goal of attending college. Her older sister was forced to drop out of school due to financial constraints but she is determined to find a way.

Due to recent changes in DACA,  students are unable to obtain a work permit to support themselves. They have no means of financial support since college tuition is on a rise, they  fear that they are not able to attend college. Despite displaying outstanding excellence in school, they are unable to support their dreams.
