Earlier this month, Patricia was taken to the clinic to address the debilitating migraines she had been having for about two weeks. After reporting symptoms of nausea and forgetfulness, and after going through an MRI scan ordered by her doctor, we discovered that there is a mass right in the middle of her brain that was causing these symptoms.

So now we humbly ask you all to join us on this journey to get the best quality of treatment and care for our beautiful wife, mother, sister, daughter, and teacher Patti.

This fundraiser will not only help with the treatment and procedures she will be undergoing here on Guam, but it will also help with the travel expenses that will help bring Patti off-island where she will continue her treatment.

We know and understand that we are in the middle of a time of great distress and anxiety because of COVID-19, so we appreciate any and every amount that you are able to give. Words of encouragement and prayers are greatly appreciated as well.

Our family is so grateful to know that Patti is so very loved by many of her friends, colleagues, and students both former and current. We also know Patti to be a faithful servant of God, tirelessly working on helping to build His Kingdom. Her entire ministry is based on constantly looking for ways to make sure that every single person in this world – and especially every person that she encounters – knows that we are seen and known and loved.

It's important to us that you know where your money is going and is accounted for so while GFM does take out a few fees and a certain percentage of the total fundraised amount, more than 95% goes to funding this cause.

Because Earl and Patti reside on Guam and because Guam is not currently recognized yet as part of the United States, Earl and Patti are unable to use a Guam-based bank account to withdraw the funds. We've asked Eric Anub (Earl's brother/Patti's brother-in-law), who, with his family, is currently located in New York, to withdraw the funds on Patti's behalf. Eric will then transfer the funds to Patti and Earl's accounts to be used for her medical expenses.
