Support Zoey's Stay at Stanford

Zoey Grace Smith was emergency airlifted to Lucile Packard Children's Hositpal at Stanford early Sunday (2/25/18) morning after turning blue on her parents. Her diagnosis was RSV, Rhino Virus, Bronchitus, Inflammed branch of her lungs, Bacterial Pneumonia and a umbilical hernia. This was a total shock for her family as she is only two weeks old and was incredibly healthy prior to catching what seemed to be a cold. Mommy Gio and Daddy Patrick stayed up there one night in a hotel ($140) and have been granted access to the Ronald McDonald house for the remainder of their stay (praise God). They are currently separted from their 3 year old son Ethan, and although he is staying with family, you can imagine how hard it is to be away from such a little boy for so long.

As you can imagine, this entire ordeal is incredibly expensive. Even though they get to stay at the RMH, that is still $10 per night. Meals average $15 each, so 3 meals per day, per parent, is $90, just in food. So these kids are looking at $100 per day with a stay until next wednesday. I am hoping that we can come together as an extended family and help support the Smith's during this time. ANYTHING helps. 

We believe in the power of prayer and that is another way we can support Zoey & family at this time. Even if you can't give, if you could pray for someone else to find room in their budget to give, that would be amazing. And if you can pray for Zoey to get stronger everyday to fight these viruses and be able to come home SOON.
