Support Yujin to Attend His Dream School

Hello, my name is Yujin Park and I am going to study BA  (Hons) Musical Theatre at Arts Educational Schools starting this September.

The arts have always been a part of my life, ever since I asked my mother to take me to ballet class when I was four years old. Subsequently, I have picked up Jazz, Tap and Lyrical Dance over the years, of which I now competitively dance in with both Lyrical and Jazz. I have achieved much success at dance competitions, of which I am humbled by and grateful for. Not only do I have a passionate love for dance but also for singing, playing instruments and acting as well. I’ve had countless experiences in performing with my violin, including solo competitions, playing in the orchestra pit for musicals, quartet performances and even had the honour to have led two different youth orchestras. My on-stage experiences also include performance opportunities with singing, in both group and solo performances. Most of those group performances were as a part of the chorus/a supporting character in musical productions, therefore those same performances naturally  provided acting opportunities for me as well. After various diverse performing experiences, I have discovered that there is a blissful beauty when different mediums of the arts are incorporated into one performance. I know the purpose of my life is to perform. The thrilling freedom and buzzing joy I feel while participating in musical productions is how I know I must study Musical Theatre in college. I aspire to be a performer who inspires, heals and shares joy with my audiences both on and off stage. I firmly believe this is my calling in life, thus I am determined to withstand any extreme challenges, as I have so far. I now face yet another obstacle, which is a lack of finance to afford the tuition to ArtsEd and I cannot overcome this barrier alone. I am doing everything within my ability and resources to be able to continue and achieve my calling as I move to London, England this September. I am preparing the best that I can by training hard for hours everyday, aiming to start my course fully apt and beyond. Setting up this page is another action I am taking in order to make my training in September possible. I believe I will learn valuable skills and life knowledge through this experience and be encouraged to continue my pursuit as a professional performer.

Financial Situation

My first term begins on 15th September and the tuition fee for the first term is £5,222. Myself and my parents have been and still are making all efforts and beyond to cover that cost but I am still in need of £2,134 (€2,500) more. My qualification is blissful news to me, however, the financial requirements to make my attendance at ArtsEd possible is substantial. The reality that I am currently not able to afford the tuitions fees is detrimental; to be heartbroken would be an understatement if I were to miss this opportunity. I would forever be grateful if you would consider to support me through this process. Every single contribution will be a massive help to me as it will ultimately be a part of laying down the next stepping stone of my journey in becoming the artist I aspire to be.
