<div>On Friday, May 15th, 14 youth activists with Sunrise PDX were detained and issued noise ordinance citations without prior warning for protesting outside a Hilton hotel hosting ICE agents. The Lake Oswego Police issued these citations with a fine of $570 per person. <strong>The activists were protesting the ICE agents who are disappearing our neighbors from their homes, schools, and businesses and protesting the Hilton hotel allowing them to sleep in our communities.</strong> Please help our friends cover their legal fees and associated costs, so they can continue fighting creeping authoritarianism in our country.
