<div>On July 11, 2025, our family lost our father, Yojani. His wife, Danny, lost her husband. And the community lost a man who, over the years, showed up for others in quiet but powerful ways.

</div>
<div>Our dad was a man of faith, love, and deep loyalty. He lived with intention, and though life threw its fair share of challenges, he met them with resilience and a heart full of devotion to his family. One of my earliest memories is walking with him through 140th and Broadway. People constantly stopped him to show love and respect. I didn’t fully understand it at the time, but as I got older, I started to understand how respected he really was and how many lives he touched just by being himself.

<div><br />
</div>
<div>As we navigate this sudden loss, we are doing all we can to honor his wishes and bring him home to the Dominican Republic to be laid to rest beside his mother, our beloved Abuela Paula. He never stopped mourning her after her passing in 2019, and we know in our hearts that being with her again is what he would have wanted.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>While we have been able to cover many of the logistics, the weight of these arrangements, both emotionally and financially, has been heavy. We created this fundraiser not out of desperation, but as a way for those who loved him, or love us, to support his final journey home.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Whether you are able to give or simply keep our family in your thoughts, it all means something to us, and we are deeply grateful.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for helping us lay our father to rest with the dignity, respect, and love he deserves.

</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
