Hi, my name is Kristen Lewis.

And we are trying to raise funds for my youngest as she has an appointment 10 hours away from home the beginning of September. This appointment is needed to evaluate her airways ENT, Plastic Surgery and Pulmonary will be seeing her and making a plan. She has been on a ventilator since she was born almost 6 years ago come August 23. And she has had her tracheostomy since September 9th 2019 two weeks after she was born. She has oral facial digital syndrome type 14. Which is a very rare so far the only one in America. So even though our Children’s Hospital in Alabama is great and has gotten her to this point. It’s now time for the next step in her healthcare, which would be getting her off of the ventilator.

wynter is a very curious little girl! She loves to mimic anybody! She loves learning new signs, music is played throughout the day because it is her favorite. She is really in love with K-pops song dreamers at the moment. She is a very fast crawler. But the ventilator is definitely holding her back. Children of Cincinnati is known for being number one in airway surgeries and that is why her pulmonary doctor put in the referral to them.

There will be five of us making the trip. We will be leaving out the day before as it is a 10 Hour drive not counting the stops for bathroom breaks. Anything and everything will help us get our winnie girl to this appointment. Thank you so much and God bless you all.
