<div>Hi, I'm Hridika Acharya, a recent high school graduate from Budhanilkantha School in Nepal and the co-founder of Pragya Nepal, an initiative dedicated to bringing health education and essential resources to underserved communities across the country.

<div>This summer, we will be travelling to Karkineta, a rural village in the Parbat District, to run a series of workshops for women and girls in the community. I'm raising funds to make this project possible and to cover the cost of supplies we'll be distributing on the ground.

<div>Why Karkineta?
</div>
<div>In many rural communities across Nepal, menstrual hygiene products are considered a luxury rather than a necessity. Women face serious health consequences as a result. Early marriage and teen pregnancy remain common. Access to information about reproductive rights, consent, and education beyond high school is severely limited. These are the lived realities of women in Karkineta.

<div>What your support will fund
</div>
<div>Through this initiative, we will be running workshops on menstrual health and hygiene, including the distribution of sanitary products to participants. We will also be holding sessions on reproductive health and rights, covering topics like consent, early marriage, and teen pregnancy. Our workshops will address the importance of continuing education after high school and what opportunities are available to young women. We will also introduce participants to the basics of financial literacy, including saving, investment, and employment, so they can work toward greater independence.

<div>About Pragya Nepal
</div>
<div>We are five students doing this out of deep personal conviction, not as part of a large NGO, but as young people who believe that change can start small and grow into something lasting. Karkineta is Hridika's home village, and we are especially committed to reaching the Dalit communities there, who are among the most underserved and deserve access to these conversations and resources just as much as anyone else. Every penny goes directly toward making these workshops happen and putting resources in the hands of young girls and women who need them.
