William Blackshear has been a familiar face and a source of comfort for countless shoppers at the Dunwoody Hall Publix. As a long-time grocery clerk, William is always quick to share a smile and offer a prayer, helping many of us through our daily struggles. His kindness and dedication have made him a dear friend to the community, and now he needs our help.

 Yesterday, William was involved in a multi-car accident on his way to work, which resulted in his car being totaled. Thankfully, he was not injured, but the financial impact is significant. With only a small insurance settlement, William does not have the means to buy a new car. This loss is especially challenging given his ongoing battle with Sickle-Cell disease, a condition he has faced since childhood. The disease causes extreme pain and often requires hospital care multiple times each year, leading to lost income and mounting medical bills.
