400 books for Community Libraries - 4 R's Project

Donation protected
Emile YX? and Heal the Hood Project decided to CREATE & BUY 400 BOOKS  containing Knowledge Of Self to assist youth with their sense of SELF WORTH AS AFRICANS and HUMANS. It also celebrate 40 years of Hip Hop in South Africa.

Heritage Month will see the launch the 4 R's  (wRiting, Reading, Remuneration, Rehumanization)  South African Tour which shares alternative information to counter the dominant Eurocentric views in education and literature in South Africa. We must wRite our stories, Read our stories, be Remunerated and demand Reparations for the products born from our stories and promote our Rehumanization through sharing pride-building stories of our contributions to civilization. It was Hip Hop Culture and awareness of heritage that freed me from that ignorance about AFRICA and returned the 4th R, Rehumanization, because true power comes from the control of the content that constitutes education and thus also the mental state of those impacted by the the content.

Our work in 15 schools in the Western Cape has shown us the great need for alternative PRIDE BUILDING INFORMATION in schools, libraries, creches and community book clubs to really CHANGE MINDS TO CHANGE ACTIONS.  We are asking friends and family to help us BUY LOCAL BOOKS for local communities.

To celebrate 40 years of being educated by Hip Hop Culture and Ancestry, a qualified South African school teacher, Emile YX? will write & self-publish a 4 part book called "Making A Black Noise" and share his lessons from being exposed to Hip Hop Culture & Education.

Emile YX? is a multiple award-winning South African Hip Hop Artivist and Elder who wishes to write four books spanning 10 years each and culminating the story with a documentary showcasing the highlights captured in each book. After recently releasing "Reconnect The String",

Emile estimated that he would need $5000 per book and $5000 for the documentary. Its $25 to pre-order per book or $125 for the whole set and the documentary. Donors can also donate $70 and get access to his full catalogue of 13 albums. Join me on this Go Fund Me Journey to share memories and achievements.
