Support Wellesley Restaurants and Local Hospitals

HELP OUR RESTAURANTS HELP FRONT LINE WORKERS.

For the past three years the Rotary Club of Wellesley has hosted The Taste of Wellesley. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we had to cancel this year’s event. 

Over the past three years, participating restaurants have helped the club raise over $ 78,000 for the Rotary Club of Wellesley Foundation. Now they are struggling with the COVID-19 restrictions. It is time for the community to help them recover and feed front line workers in the war on COVID-19.

We are beginning an ambitious plan to raise $200,000 to help restaurants in Wellesley, MA by giving each of the participating restaurants $12,000 in exchange for 600 meals delivered to workers at local hospitals and car facilities.

This will not only help support the restaurants in our town but will help businesses associated with the restaurants, including but not limited to produce & dairy companies, paper suppliers, etc..

Each restaurant will be making and delivering meals to area hospitals and care facilities.  We are asking that they help promote the fundraiser on their websites and social media outlets to help ensure we reach our goal.  The Rotary Club of Wellesley is also allocating funds to advertise this fundraiser as well as working with local and state media outlets to help reach our goal.

We are hoping to solicit corporate donations as well as individual donations.
