<div>My name is Kristin Maxson. <strong>The Blessing Cart is a small self-service food “pantry” that my amazing sister-in-law, Tammy Alger, has been running out of her front yard.</strong> The Blessing Cart has outgrown its current size! <strong>The need is great :(</strong>

<div>Tammy has been making homemade soups and bread to stock the cart. The Vandercook Lake community has been generous and helped with donations as well! Churches in the area are now referring people to The Blessing Cart. Most days, Tammy and Pat have 30 to 40 cars!

<div>Last winter, canned goods had to be taken inside each night and carried back outside in the morning because they would freeze and pop. Summertime is hard too, keeping fresh produce cool in the summer heat.

<div><strong>Our goal is to raise money to build a small outbuilding that will keep donations safe from the weather.</strong> If we receive extra funds, the money will be used to purchase groceries and toiletries for The Blessing Cart.
